Considering the impacts of drone noise

When flying your drone, it is important to consider potential noise impacts, whether on other members of the community or the environment.

In Australia, all remotely piloted aircraft and drones must abide by the Air Navigation (Aircraft Noise) Regulations 2018 (the Noise Regulations).

While recreational drone users do not need to apply for noise approvals, it is useful to be considerate of where and when you fly in relation to others around you and your surroundings.
