Safety policy

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulates drone safety in Australia.

CASA is responsible for all safety regulations relating to the operation of drones. All drone operators should be aware of the rules and responsibilities that apply to them before flying. For more information and to learn about the drone safety rules, please see the CASA drone rules and Know Your Drone pages.

Community members are encouraged to report unsafe drone operations. Any evidence you can capture at the time of the incident will help support the investigation process. If someone has been seriously injured or needs emergency assistance, please dial 000 (Emergency Services) immediately.
