The Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) Action Plan has now landed. 

Developed in consultation with industry, the UTM Action Plan details projects and workstreams that will be delivered across government up to 2026 and indicates possible longer-term activities the government will consider based on lessons learned both here and internationally. 

UTM Action Plan initiatives are grouped into 4 focus areas to help grow Australia’s UTM.

• Separation and airspace integration
• Better regulation 
• Fit-for-purpose regulatory approvals
• Improved compliance, enforcement and security
