CASA guidance to uplift drones in agriculture

In Australia, drones are increasingly being used to carry out a variety of agricultural operations. Safety rules govern drone use in agricultural operations, and these rules change depending on a range of factors including the weight of the drone, the visibility of the remote pilot and the nature of the drone operation.

To simplify the rules, and ensure all agricultural operations can be conducted safely, CASA has compiled guidance on the existing safety rules, and how they apply in different agricultural operations.
